"publicize" doesn't work on Facebook

    Good morning
    I’m the webmaster of the web site https://www.sportpeople.net. Unfortunately, one week ago, the “publicize” function stopped to work. My post now are shared on twitter but not on facebook. I tried to uninstall/reinstall Jetpack, to remove and reinstall the app on Facebook, to retry the connection, to deactivate some plugin etc, but the result was the same yet. So, I have to ask you what happened and if you know a solution. Thanks a lot, have a good day

    You seem to be using a specific plugin to handle Open Graph Meta tags on your site. Could you let me know what plugin it is? Could you also try to deactivate it and let me know if it helps?

    I’m not an expert, so I don’t know which plugin could use Open Graph. I send you a list of the plugin (someone really unuseful):

    – Add from server
    – Best Facebook Like button
    – Captcha
    – Easy add thumbnail
    – Facebook like box
    – Image widget
    – NextGen gallery
    – RV Embed PDF
    – Shareaholic | share buttons
    – Social Media Widget
    – The loops
    – Video thumbnails
    – WP Scheduled posts

    I have this problem from 10 days, and the plugins are the same. Before this time the publicize worked.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    I’m not familiar with all these plugins, but Best Facebook Like button, Easy add thumbnail, Facebook like box, Social Media Widget seem like good candidates.

    Using one of them is fine, but as soon as you add another you create duplicate meta tags, and Facebook recently started rejecting Publicized posts that include 2 sets of Open Graph meta tags.

    Could you try to deactivate them all, one at a time, until the error disappears in Facebook’s debugger?

    Maybe the guilty is Best Facebook Like Button. Now I’m doing some attempts but “publicize” seems OK.

    You could the Like button that comes with Jetpack! ?? To activate it, go to Settings > Sharing in your dashboard, drag the Facebook button into the Enabled Services area, and choose the “Official buttons” style.

    You could also get rid of the Facebook like box plugin, and use the Like Box widget in Jetpack. You can find out more about it here:
