Hi – I was able to connect my Twitter for publicizing on WordPress.com, but I don’t see Twitter under the publicize section on the post edit page – which means I can’t edit “custom message” (facebook and other SNS do appear here after connected).
However when I publish a new post, publicize is actually working, like an automatic tweet is made (with no custom message since I couldn’t edit it).

I tried on both WordPress.com and WP-admin, Twitter does not appear under publicize on neither sites.

I’ve been struggling and googling for a few days but totally have no clue why it’s doing this – would be great if you guys can help! Thank you.

  • Having a similar problem. Working on Friday, not working today. I’ve re-set up Jetpack, I’ve disconnected from FB and re-set up FB. It says Twitter is connected on the Jetpack screen but that FB isn’t connected. Neither of them appear to be working on my posts and, like you, Chloe, I can’t change the custom message either. Pretty sure it’s not my end as I’ve checked the FB Business integrations and it says that WordPress is active. Pretty fedup as I feed most of my social media from my blog. To be fair, I haven’t actually published a post as mine are all scheduled ahead.

    Help, anyone?

I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue using Jetpack 9.3.1

At this point, I’d like to run some more tests with you on your sites to try to figure out what’s happening.

Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?

    Thanks!
