• Just upgraded to WP 4.0 and immediately was told to “reconnect to FB for Jetpack Publicize”

    Facebook is the only thing I use Publicize for. I try to reconnect and get this error message:

    Jetpack: [auth_failed] Authorization header was malformed

    I try to disconnect totally (the X beside the page name) and get the standard confirmation, then a message pops up that I have successfully connected to the Facebook page (!). Close the popup, and the same error message is there.

    Your site doesn’t seem to be properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment. Could you go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on “Disconnect from WordPress.com”? Once you’ve done so you’ll be able to reconnect to WordPress.com by clicking on the connect button at the top of the page.

    If you experience issues when reconnecting, can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.
