Publicize and Subscriptions Not Working

I had the same issue today as well. Had no issue yesterday. Just curious do you have scheduled posts?

I disconnected Jetpack and reconnected today. Still had some issues afterward. I won’t know until tomorrow with the scheduled posts. Im still waiting on seeing if the people having this issue are using scheduled posts or not. My main publicize (manual push) worked fine today, although a few of my subscribers got their emails much later.

@metaglyphics I don’t know that much about this debug code, But I am pretty sure that we all are facing this issue after the new design in Jetpack which is similar to WordPress.com. Right?

My issues began on Tuesday this week. Up till that point I’ve been running fine with my Jetpack/Wordpress combo. But now I have been seeing a lot of issues arise. I’m not sure if that corresponds to the 4.3.1 release of Jetpack or not. What I do know from looking at the Jetpack forums is that there are a lot of people having a lot of problems since this release. Personally, I liked the old layout better. It was easier to use in my opinion. Regardless, I’m disappointed though because my scheduled posts aren’t going out anymore to the Social Media or the subscriptions at all. I have to manually post my scheduled blogs right now and doing that in my dashboard does at least currently seem to get things to the social media and followers. I think there’s a server issue on Jetpack’s side. What I can’t understand is why they are on “hiatus” for two weeks? Seems like a weird thing really, especially to drop a new release and then not have any support. Weird right? Anyway, I know some people have mentioned downgrading to an earlier version of Jetpack, but I’m not about to try that and cause myself even more problems. Just curious @metaglyphics, are all your blogs scheduled like mine and who is your hosting provider?

I am using old version 4.0.4 on one of my website. And I just made a post there, and everything goes fine, including publicize. Well, of course I also hate this new layout and it completely weird that the entire team of Jetpack goes on holiday together after releasing new version. ??

@zipal have you tried to do a scheduled posting to see if everything goes out? Or are you only manually posting?

@metaglyphics: Thanks for the report! It looks like there is an issue with Jetpack’s connection on your site. That might be responsible for the trouble. As a first step, can you please try to disconnect and then reconnect Jetpack from WordPress.com? To do so, click on Jetpack from your site’s Dashboard and scroll all the way down where you’ll see a link that says “Disconnect from WordPress.com”. Click that to disconnect.

To reconnect, click the green button that says “Connect to Get Started” and follow the prompts. Please let me know when you’ve done so, and I’ll check your connection from our end once again.
