  • Hi there,

Sorry about the delay in writing back to you. It looks like posts created using MyCurator is first passed as a custom post type, which you’ll need to add support for inorder for it to Publicize. Can you try adding the code sample that my colleague mentioned in that thread?

    HI lamday

I have tried adding the code in as directed in that old thread, but it didn’t work..there didn’t seem to be any apparent change what so ever.

On the MyCurator side..what “support” has to be added? I’ve talked to Mark Tilly, the developer and aside from that old discussion, I don’t think there was any further contact with you guys.

What throws me off though..is regardless of how an article is written into the posts, at some some point it is Published. Why isn’t Jetpack picking up on that Published as a trigger?

    Thanks

It will, but only if you enable Publicize support for that post type. Once you’ve done so (by pasting the code in a functionality plugin like this one), you will see the Publicize options appear right next to the Publish button in the editor, for that post type.

Let me know how that goes!
