I am using the latest BP & BP Docs version with the TwentySixteen default theme

I added a doc in the frontend using a user with Subscriber/Author/Contributor level(non-administrator) but the doc/wiki is not searchable when those non-Administrator level is logged in. Those docs only appear or is searchable when an Administrator logs in.

Which meta in the bp_docs post type is hiding it from the normal search query?

The per doc access settings are used to exclude docs that shouldn’t be visible to users in a number of contexts, including search results. For non-group-associated docs, the settings are “anyone,” “logged-in” and “doc author only.” So, if you’re not logged in, we exclude all docs that have a “read” setting of “logged in” or “doc author only.” This exclusion is accomplished via taxonomy terms, not meta.

Check out how the WP_Query is filtered here: https://github.com/boonebgorges/buddypress-docs/blob/master/includes/access-query.php

But, if a doc is set to read: anyone, it should appear in search results.
