I noticed that the specific custom page I want to include in my search is listed as ‘public – no’.

I’ve been trying to research how to change this so that it will start indexing this page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What exactly do you mean? Where it is listed? Do you mean the “Post types to index” list? If so, you don’t have to care about it. Relevanssi can index non-public post types, no problems there, that information is just for information, it’s not a restriction.

If checking the post type and rebuilding the index doesn’t include the custom post type to the index, you have to uncheck the “Respect exclude_from_search for custom post types” option as well.

    Mikko,

That solved the issue. Thank you very much for the quick response.

Very solid plugin. I will be suggesting it to anyone that is looking for a better search in wordpress.

    Thanks again,

    Tim
