Public members list w/ search filters based on custom fields of members profiles

Hi everybody,

I would like to have a public members directory page with a search function where we can use filters to sort all the member corresponding to the filters that we specify.
In the members profiles there would be custom fields like:
“Country”, “Car models”, “Year of fabrication”
I want the members and public to be able to do a search for the members located in “Canada” that have “Honda’s” and “2000″ for the year of the car.

Also, is there any existing plugin for the member’s to be able to upload photos to their profiles and add little descriptions under the photos?
And is it possible that they have their own member profile page? So they can share the address to other people example: “www.examplewebsite.com/RobertSupercharger69” would be the page of “RobertSupercharger69”.
I heard about BuddyPress but I remember trying this plugin and I felt like my website was bloated with huge modules that I don’t even need. (Like the Facebook imitation thing).
