I’m using the latest Event Tickets and I have the box checked to display the public attendees list, but after updating and viewing the new page, there’s no list of attendees or anything new at all. Is there a shortcode I can add?

    Hi @thedanhealy

Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.

To confirm, is there an attendee added already to your attendee list in the wp-admin dashboard? If so, you should see a section for the Public Attendee List in your event page.

I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have further questions or concerns.

hi Darian, thanks for the reply. Surprisingly, the notification from yesterday’s reply didn’t make it into my inbox but nevertheless, I’m here to provide some more feedback. We have six attendees already RSVPed and I have the checkbox checked, but yet there is no display of attendees on the event page. I’ve cleared all the caches and unsure why there’s no display. Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot this?

    Hi @thedanhealy

    Thanks for your response.

I think that is the expected behavior. By default, the checkbox is checked. If the checkbox is checked, that means that the attendees want to hide their data from public view.

To be shown in the public attendee results, users will need to uncheck the box, allowing themselves to be publicly visible as attending the event. We have made the default option to be opt-out to comply more closely with GDPR, California Customer Privacy Act, and similar best practices.

I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have further questions or concerns.
