Publcize Not Rendering Shortcodes to Tumblr

I have a custom shortcode
[inside]on my site that inserts a standardly worded header (“Inside the Photo’ ) for some of my posts, it renders as expected on my site and in RSS e.g.https://barkingdog.me/photos/590
but when it gets published to Tumblr, the shortcode is sitting there
It’s not all that critical for me, but thought y’all should know
