Proximity events

  • Hello!

    Is it possible for the plugin, by means of short codes or other code, to list events at a certain relative distance from those viewing the page?

    Eplication:

    I would like users to find events near their location.

    I suspected that the items related to “near” could do this. But the short explanation in the documentation and my limited English may be confusing me.

    I thought the short code below could be the answer but it is not. Because events from any distance are shown:

    `[events_list limit=5 near=’#_LOCATIONLATITUDE,#_LOCATIONLONGITUDE’ near_unit=”km” near_distance=”5″][/events_list]

    I tried the above shortcode and it seems to be working fine; can I know the shortcode results on your site?

    You have two events on the page.

    Florianópolis is in this neighborhood. The Belo Horizonte event is 2000 km away.

    I thought that this code would show only the first event, which is close and not the second event which is distant. But perhaps, I did not understand something about its real function.
