    Hi,

I’ve been trying to change my work hours in the Amelia basic plugin to the 12 hour format we use here in the states. Even though I changed my time zone and time format in WordPress’ general settings (as suggested), when I go to “Work Hours” under “Provider Details”, it still only shows the 24 hour format. For example, I want to choose 5:00 pm instead of 17:00 for the end of my time slot. What am I missing?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello there.

The time format applies to the front-end only. In the back-end, it’s currently not possible to use the 12-hour format. Please feel free to add this to our feature suggestions page, so our other customers can vote for this feature, and our developers will add it to their to-do list.

We sure hope this will be implemented in the near future, although we can’t make any promises.

    Kind regards.

Your statement, “applies to the front end only” confuses me. What do you mean by “applies to”? This makes it sound like I actually can do something so that my clients can have the 12 hour format on the front end. However, I suppose you’re saying that there is no way on the backend to set the time format to the 12 hour format. Is that right?

    Yes, that is correct.

When you configure the WordPress general settings, so the time format is 12-hours: https://imagesharing.com//photo.php?s=vcq4768f

It will show this on the front-end: https://imagesharing.com//photo.php?s=3kj49ld1

If you set it to be a 24-hour format: https://imagesharing.com//photo.php?s=ev7jtxrl

It will show this on the front-end: https://imagesharing.com//photo.php?s=qmhcrzua

In the back-end, where you configure your employee’s work hours, days off, and special days, however, it will always be in the 24-hour format, regardless of the WordPress configuration.
