Protection Supported By….

    Received an email saying my WP was just updated….I never did it, and I am the only user. I checked my website and on the very bottom of the home page, there is a line that says “Protection Supported by Top Engineering Colleges…..” This was never there before and I would like to remove it. Does this mean my site has been hacked or why is this happening please? https://www.corporatetransformationz.com

    I have’nt added such type of line in theme.

    Are you using any of the plugins, if yes, than try disabling all the plugins. If that din’t work than check the footer.php file and see weither this line is hard coded in it or not

    I checked, and you are right. It is a plugin. In this case I want to keep it, but changed a bit of text. Thanks very much for you help.

    Can you please tell us what plugin it was. I too have the same thing and would like to know . Thanks

    Hello jhoran.
    The plugin is CopyProtect. I have decided to deactivate it since I cannot remove the “Colleges from India”.
