I purchased the Team Portal upgrade so I could create a members only area on our site.

I am using a plugin for downloading learning tracks for our members and when the page is checked as “No, do not protect this content ( non-members can access it )” it shows up in the main site menu and works perfect.

If I edit the page and check it as “Yes, protect this content ( members only )”, then it now only shows up in the private member section but the shortcode just lists as text rather than functioning as it is supposed to. i.e. instead of a download button showing up I see [ddownload file=”123″].

My apologies if this was confusing to anyone – this post was for the paid “Portal” add-on, not for the base Our Team Showcase product, and as such should not have been posted here.

Smartcat got back to me right away directly and I had a fix in place shortly after I posted. I just got back to work and so am now posting this update and closing this thread.

For future information if anyone else has this issue with another add-on, what I did was add the code do_shortcode() in the file doing the output. In this case it was in the post.php file.
