Protected page: Login and Join Us links do not work

Hi, when a non-member accesses a protected page, s/he sees this message:

“You need to login to view this content. Please Login. Not a Member? Join Us”.

However, “Login” and “Join Us”, which show up in blue implying links, are not links. When I hold a mouse pointer over those words, there is no way to click to be able to access the appropriate pages.

What do I need to change?

This plugin seems to fit our needs perfectly in other ways; thanks so much.
