protected against XSS vulnerability?

Hi there,
I love this plugin but I’ve had some issues recently with the XSS vulnerability, and I’m trying to ensure that all of my plugins are as up-to-date as possible. Since this hasn’t had an update in quite a while, can you ensure it’s protected against this? Thanks in advance!!
