Protect file on litespeed server

  • Hello. My files can dowdnloads with direct link. How can i protect them? I am using litespeed server.

    Have you uploaded your product to default EDD folder or have you created any other folder for files?

    In default folder.

    wp-content/uploads/edd/

    Can you please confirm in your default EDD folder wp-content/uploads/edd/, there is a file .htaccess or not?

    Also please confirm that there are some content in .htaccess file or not?

    Yes, contains .htaccess file, 2019 folder and index.php

    I also need a solution for this, I also have litespeed, set the expiry to an hour but it doesn’t work, direct linking still works.
