I have enabled “Protect content when Javascript is disabled” option and this works for some content, but not for featured or product images. If Java is disabled the featured and product images can be freely copied or saved. Is it possible to resolve this issue? Thanks.

    Dear @mountainguide,

    Thank you for the topic.

We checked the case on our end and noticed that when the JavaScript is disabled, the white screen is normally displayed and there is no image.

    See the screenshot below:

Please let us know how exactly you achieved this case.

Also, we noticed that you are using a Cache plugin. The problem may be connected to the cache as well.

    See the screenshot below:

So, please clear all the caches and make sure the cache is excluded on the page where the copy protection is enabled.
After clearing the?caches, please try to check the case with either the?Incognito?mode?or?another browser/device.?

    Thank you.

    Hi Jasmine,

Many thanks for your prompt and helpful response.

I experienced the issue when using Firefox with an add on to disable Javascript. This is the add on. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/disable-javascript/

I had also tried clearing the cache and deactivating Fastest Cache plugin in WordPress, and clearing the site data in Firefox.

Having done this I found that the images on my web pages were mostly blanked out, but the featured images and product data in Woo Commerce were not blanked out and could be freely downloaded when I used the add on to toggle Javascript off.

Subsequent to receiving your message I tried turning off Javascript in Chrome in the browser settings and tried viewing my site, and then I got the outcome I had expected, a totally white screen with the message to turn on Javascript, as per your screenshot.

But the outcome in Firefox is unchanged, and the images are exposed.

I would be interested if you can advise further.

    Thank you.

    Dear @mountainguide,

    Thank you for your reply.

We tried to disable the JavaScript from the Firefox Browser Settings and got the expected result.

    See the screenshot below:

Unfortunately, we can’t completely handle the case related to the addons/extensions.?
Unfortunately, it is technically impossible to implement 100% protection on WordPress websites for all cases.?

    Thank you.
