    Hi,

I like the addition of Protect to Jetpack, but after the most recent update I have found myself and clients locked out of their sites because Protect is mistaking the server IP address (lets call it 70.111.11.11 for the user’s actual IP (94.222.22.22) and then blocking it.

When I unblock myself by adding the rule to wp-config with my IP (94.222.22.22), I can get in fine. However, when I go to the configure page to whitelist my IP, above the text box it tells me my IP is the server IP(70.111.11.11) again.

    I’m pretty confused :-/

This appears to be the result of server-side IP filtering after changing IP because of a DDOS attack, so not a Jetpack bug.

    Please ignore.

    Thanks
