• Crazy, odd situation! I decided I wanted to use a few videos on my site, so I tried out several video plugins to see which would work the best. I settled on ProPlayer because it would work in a text widget in the sidebar. All was great! Then today I decided to deactivate some of the plugins I was no longer using. After deactivating about 5 plugins, the videos in the sidebar quit working. The ones in post were still working fine. So I decided to re-activate all the plugins I had just deactivated. Low and behold, the videos were working again. So I decided to deactivate the same plugins one at a time. Here’s the shocker. The plugin that did it was PollDaddy Polls plugin, version 1.8.9. I toggled it off and on several times to make sure my eyes were working right. They were. And the same problem is with IE7 and Firefox.

WTH! Anybody got any idea how these two plugins are related, and or how the PollDaddy plugin can turn ProPlayer on and off?? I look around the posted ProPlayer topics and see nothing related.

I am fully updated on everything except WP Version 3.0.3 that just came out today.

    Confused in LaLa Land.
