Property Types options box is disabled on Property Settings

  • After upgrading to Real Estate Manager version 6.0, my previous list of values for Property Types was replaced by the default list. And the box for setting those values under Property Settings got grayed out, totally disabled.

    I changed themes, deactivated the plugin, deleted it and installed it again, all with the same result.

    Finally I managed to solve it right on the on WP dashboard by inspecting the code in the Property Settings page. I noticed that the textarea for that property-type-options is disabled. I managed to remove the “disabled” word from that html field right in the browser while executing the page. That allowed me to write back my list of Property Types and save the settings that way. Now the box is still disabled, but at least I found a workaround to modify its contents when needed. I’m sharing this in case other run into the same issue, as it seems that this version comes with that box disabled.

    Thanks so much Rameez for your fast resolution of this. I just want to report that I tested version 6.1 it in the same day you released it fixed the issue. I haven’t seen any other bugs so far in this new version.
