Hi Friends. This seems to be a more recent problem, but I’ve been adding Site Kit to sites that have an established Analytics account, and when I am given a list of properties, the property I need is not in the list, even though the property exists and I’m logged into the right account. If you could provide some directions on why some properties may not be showing up in my list that would be very helpful.

Hello @sumydesigns, thanks for getting in touch. The first thing that comes to mind here would be to check with you how many Analytics properties you have in the connected Google account?

I ask this as the current maximum number of Analytics properties listed per account in Site Kit is 200. The first 200 properties created in that account will be displayed and any after that will not be.

Discussions have taken place on if this can be improved but this was recently changed to 200 from 50.

A temporary workaround you could also use in this scenario would be to create a new Google account and share property permissions to that account. You could then set up Site Kit and connect Analytics using that account. This would only be a workaround though and it would be great to first get your feedback on the first point above before exploring this.

If this isn’t the case and you don’t have over 200 properties then please feel free to share your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred. I can take a look and see if anything stands out here.

I do, in fact, have more than 200 accounts. (I asked very nicely and my limit was increased.) I actually had wondered if this was my problem.

I understand the workaround, but I create a new account for each client, and sometimes these accounts have multiple properties, so putting multiple properties from different clients into the same account wouldn’t work for me. It is very important that they be separate.

@sumydesigns Thanks for confirming this. Unfortunately as stated, the limit at this time is set at 200. There have been discussions about raising this but at this time we are not looking to do this.

If this changes we can certainly update you here but in the meantime the workaround shared above would be the only other option to you if you hit the limit on accounts or properties.

Is there anything else I can help you with?
