Although I’m very happy with WP Supercache I have an issue that I hope someone can help me with. No matter where I look I can’t find any (proper) upgrading instructions for this plugin nor any information on what’s changed as far as new revisions are concerned ie: is there anywhere I can find a version history?

I’m not really criticizing here since the plugin does an excellent job but it’s not exactly a “deactivate and delete” type of plugin so if anyone knows of where I might find information as to the proper way of upgrading WP Supercache and if there’s a version history anywhere It would be an enormous help. Thanks ??

I’ve just upgraded by replacing the old version with the new one, right in place. It’s worked fine for me.

A revision history would be nice though.

Thanks Otto42. That’s what I usually do but it’s good to confirm. Still, I believe proper upgrade instructions should be included for the non-tech types.

Check out the Changelog.txt in the zip file. I guess I should link to that from the main page, or perhaps update my blog’s page with it.

    Hey Doncha,

It may sound a bit redundant but with more and more “non-tech” bloggers switching to custom WP installs these days I’ve seen a rather significant push behind the various scenes related to WordPress to start “simplifying and standardizing” things so these types of users have the info right at hand so to speak. Makes sense when seen in the light that the popularity of the WordPress platform is growing by leaps and bounds or at least by significant hops, skips and jumps.
