Promotion category rule

    Hello,

    I created a rule to automatically add and remove products on sale to the promotion category but it doesn’t work, almost all my products (665 out of 784) have been added to this category.

    Hi, the “Automatic Product Categories for WooCommerce” plugin only adds or removes product categories, not the products themselves. It seems there may be an issue with your configuration. In both cases, when a product is updated, it will automatically be assigned to the “Promos” category.

    Could you clarify what you’re trying to achieve? ?? I’m not entirely sure I understand.

    I have a sale on a few products that change every month. I want the discounted products to be automatically assigned to the “Promos” category during the discount period and then removed when they are no longer on sale. But I don’t want to change the other categories already assigned to my products.

    Hi Camille,

    Understood! To achieve what you need, simply keep the first rule active and disable or remove the second one. This way, when a product is updated and is on sale, the “Promos” category will be automatically assigned, and it will be removed once the sale ends.

    For the initial setup, please run the rule manually on all products. To do this, check the checkbox in the first column for the first rule and then click “save and run selected.”

    Hi,

    All products have been removed from the Promos category, thank you.

    But I still have a problem, I have products that are on sale but still do not appear in the Promos category.
