Very promising plugin with functionality for custom fields as well as post types and taxonomies – thumbs up!

    But…

    * FAQ on the WP plugin page says

“Does using the “Custom post types” plugin require technical knowledge? :: No! No technical knowledge is required, anyone can do it.”

Well, almost. But templates require HTML knowledge and it’s not clear whether you write templates into visual editor or text editor of WP window.

    * Add Field – this had me confused as the button label implies add ONE field. But then you get a choice to add any mumber of fields; indeed, you have to! So the plugin nomenclature ‘Add Field’ is wrong – it should be ‘Add Field Group’. THEN within your field group you can add individual custom fields. ??

    * Custom Template – this feature failed for me. It could be a browser issue, but on publishing my custom template I just got a blank window. Using the browser back button I got to the plugin admin again…it had registered and listed my custom template. But clicking to edit the custom template again just got an empty browser window. Something failing there (Mac OSX 10.6.8, Firefox 45.9)

But a lot of promise in this plugin! Docs in English would be nice…Italian isn’t my forté… ??

Hi @hj, thanks for using this plugin and really thanks for this feedback.

    About this:

Well, almost. But templates require HTML knowledge and it’s not clear whether you write templates into visual editor or text editor of WP window.

it is not specified because you can use either Html or a page builder (if you use one), for example if you use Gutemberg you will find 2 elements to show “Fields” and “Taxonomies”.
Anyway I accept the feedback and will work to improve the documentation.

    About this:

    * Add Field – this had me confused …

you are absolutely right, this correction will be included in the next update (very soon).

    About this:

    * Custom Template – this feature failed …

It could depend on several reasons, test with another browser and if the problem persists, I invite you to send me temporary credentials via the contact form on my website, so I can see what happens.

I am rewriting the documentation, after which it will be translated into English and made available to everyone.

If you want to support me do not forget to leave your review ??

    Hi Andrea, thanks for reply.

Yes, I will try and test on other browsers – I thought it was the plugin at first, but now I suspect that it is is something to do with my system and some of its older apps. Most things work fine, I’ve never come across an issue like that before in all my time using WordPress! But times change ??

    Keep up the good work.

    hj
