• It works as specified and is very useful. However the UI is still inefficient. We have hundreds of pages and tens of plugin files, so we need to set thousands of check marks to make good use of the plugin. Not efficient. If it would be possible to use wildcards for both pages/posts and assets (ccs / js), then this would be very useful.

The long list of files below every page is very inefficient. Better have a separate settings page with a tree view (based on page and custom post type) of all pages and posts where you can select the files to load.

WooCommerce (and other plugins) also use virtual page names like /product/<productname>/ that are not in the page list and therefore cannot be managed by this plugin with its current approach.

    Thanks for your feedback.

There is a an option to globally unload an asset on all pages and only load it on pages you need. This saves a lot of time and it was a feature I considered as people requested it. You don’t have to check thousands of marks. The plugin is doesn’t have a wildcard option as it’s still new and first of all free.

That’s just a UI preference. As a global option exists, you can go to a page (either in the front-end or Dashboard when you edit it) and perform the actions you need.

WooCommerce (and other plugins) also use virtual page names like /product/<productname>/ that are not in the page list and therefore cannot be managed by this plugin with its current approach.

As the plugin is a few months old, you can’t expect it to have everything, since it’s also free.

I’m disappointed by the rating. As you said, the plugin “works as specified and is very useful”. You rated the plugin poorly, even though it does exactly what it says it will do. Here’s a great post I found about giving feedback on WordPress plugins: https://chrislema.com/theres-wrong-way-give-plugin-feedback-wordpress-org/

    All the best!

    Hi Gabe,

Thanks for your response. The option to globally unload an asset cannot be used in my case because I can’t load it then on the (virtual) product pages as these pages cannot be managed by the plugin.

If you ever consider including wildcards (preferably by regular expressions), that would really be a USP and I would be happy to pay a reasonable price for it.

I accept your comment about the rating and changed it accordingly. Please keep up the good worK!

In support of Gabe, the technique involved in getting the enqueued lists is very complex and as far as I know this is the only plugin in the WP repository that does this on the backend on a per page/post/cpt basis.

Maybe you should ask woocommerce to figure out how to handle their plugin…

There is a plugin for woo,

WooCommerce can really drain server resources and slow down the load of your site. This plugin stops loading the extra items you do not need inside WooCommerce and speeds up WordPress core admin-ajax.php file. WooCommerce Speed Drain Repair
