Project API endpoint returning empty array

Could I kindly ask if you could send me a screenshot of which parameters you are sending in the request to determine if that might be causing any filtering or something like that?

I feel like perhaps a better solution than a custom build would be for me to add filters/hooks to the sections that you would like to override/extend and then you can add the custom code that way? Please let me know if you would prefer that and then I would be happy to do that.

No problem at all.

To test the /wp-json/zephyr_project_manager/v1/projects endpoint I was simply typing in to the address bar. /tasks, /files, /categories, /users all return a JSON array but /projects just returns the empty array as mentioned above.

Action hooks are probably a “better” way to handle this kind of extension than using the API, so I would be in favor of that. My most preferred solution overall would be that categories, projects, and maybe tasks would have the ability to have a Featured Image style thumbnail. I’m on a marketing team and we have a small number of projects that are visual in nature, so the ability to quickly identify projects by their associated imagery would be a huge win. But if that isn’t in line with the roadmap of the plugin, having the ability to add it through action hooks would be nice.

Thanks for the response and sorry for the delay over the weekend.

I will add this feature over the next couple of days and will let you know as soon as it is completed and ready. It should take a day or two.

I’ll also try replicate the API issue to get that fixed as well.

I have finished adding these new changes now.

For categories, whenever editing or creating a new category, you can add, update or remove a featured image. It will then be displayed in the category selection, and the same for projects, some examples below:

These changes will be released in the next major version, which is the version I have been working hard on for the past couple of months and has many new features. I am planning to have it completed and released mid-end of February.
