Actually I think it’s due to the admin bar pushing the site down by 32px. Can you confirm that the same thing happens when you are not logged into the site? Because when I view your site not logged in it works well on all viewport sizes.

Sorry for the delay in response!

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried on a different browser while being logged out and it still seems to be happening. I am on an iPad Pro and it’s happening in both chrome and safari. Here’s another screenshot from the latest post.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Alright think I figured this out. You need to set the same value for Touch Offset that you have for Offset. It’s in the Reading Progress >> Functionality panel within the WTR plugin settings. It’s right underneath the Touch Placement option, right above the Content Offset option. That is the value being used on touch devices, so you need to adjust it accordingly.

    Hi Brian,
Thanks for trying that. Unfortunately doing that breaks the mobile phone view. https://www.dossierblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Image-1.jpg

So basically you need 3 different offset controls – one for desktop, one for touch, and one for phones. Unfortunately that will require some customization to the plugin code. This is not something that the plugin can do at this time, but if you need to hire us to perform this customization, feel free to send an email to [email protected] and we can discuss.

    Thanks Brian,

Just a suggestion and I may be wrong, but why not just make the ‘touch offset’ applicable to devices smaller than 900px width and the main offset for everything else? This way things like tablets & iPads would be lumped into the main offset setting which seem to work properly, and the touch offset would be smaller and work for mobile phone devices?
Just a suggestion, but could be a quicker work around for you guys…

Let me know what you think.
