    Hi

    Have you discontinued this plugin: ProfileGrid User Display Name?

    Also this one: ProfileGrid Custom Profile Slugs? Do I simply delete them? Is there functionality now in the core?

    Thank you for writing to us.

    Both the ProfileGrid extensions, ‘User Display Name’ and ‘Custom Profile Slug’, are still available and we continue to support them. Their features are not included in the core plugin,

    Let us know if you have any other questions.

    When a user is signing up via registration form; I have a Nick name field option titled Public Display Name.

    How can I have this pull automatically into “Display name publicly as” on traditional WP user profile?

    Because the “Display name publicly as” will be shown throughout the forums.

    RESOLVED: Found the settings in global settings.

    I need to update this Profil Grid extension but automatic update failed.I get the zip file 1.4 but nothing tells me how to update ?

    Hello? @f14m07,

    Extensions are not upgradeable from the Plugins list inside Dashboard with one click, you’ll have to first download the extension zip file on your computer and then install that zip file as new plugin on your site. Do this after deleting the older extension version from the Plugins list in Dashboard.
