    Hi.
I have setup a website with member groups using profilegrid plugin. All is well until I tested in on some users only to discover that most of my target market here in Thailand don’t have an email and this will effectively destroy my chances of making this work. I have activated ‘Anyone can register’ checkbox in WordPress following Settings/General but it hasn’t helped.

The registration forms created don’t show unless I have a *email on the form.

I would like not to have a forced email so that email input can be an option and not a required field.

    Please advise – thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @defunktlemon,

Thank you for writing to us.

WordPress default registration requires the email field for registration on site, so email field can’t be optional, It will be required to work with WordPress site.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
