Hello, I am enjoying using the Profilegrid plugin on my website, but noticed some incompatibility issue with Dokan.

I am using the Dokan multiventor plugin for WooCommerce and want to use Profilegrid for the frontend user profile page. However I realised that new users registered through Dokan are not recognised / displayed under the main Profilegrid dashboard or under User Profiles, although they are recognised in the WordPress Users page. If I disable Dokan and register new users using just the WooCommerce registration form, the users are correctly shown within Profilegrid. But as soon as I enable Dokan, this problem happens again.

I’d rather use both Dokan and Profilegrid as they serve different purposes well, but unfortunately they are not working well together. I guess it should be addressed on the Profilegrid side, as Dokan is working fine with or without Profilegrid, but not the other way around.

Hope this could be resolved. Thank you.

Hello, thanks for your response. Could you please explain how to assign a User Group to the users registered through Dokan? Do I do it from the WordPress Users page or the ProfileGrid page? I thought all users are automatically assigned to be a member of the default group, but those users registered through Dokan are not shown there.

    Thanks.

Hi, in addition to the question above, may I ask another question?

I know how to use [PM_Search] to make search among all Groups, and [PM_Group ID=”x”] to display all users within a Group. Is it possible to search for users within a particular group? Is there a shortcode for this?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello Winmoreuk,

You can assign a group to users from the WP Dashboard’s Users page. Please follow the steps mentioned below to assign a?group to users:

    1) Login to WP Dashboard and go to the “Users” menu.

    2) Here you will see the list of all registered users on your site.

    3) Edit the profile of a user to whom?you want to assign a group.

    4) On user profile edit page, find the option “User Group(s)” and select the group which you want to assign to that user.

Also, you can filter the search result for particular group by following the steps below:

    1) Go to the search page and click on the “ADVANCE” button.

    2) Now you will see the dropdown to select a group which will filter the search result for that particular group.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.
