Profile Update Button does not work

    Hello,

    On UM-edit user page (…/user/username/?um_action=edit) the “check-button” and the “Update Profile button” suddenly does not work anymore. By clicking on it to update theprofile, the edit page is only refreshed an all changes i have done are still in the textbox. But when i close the editing mode (load the user page: …/user/username/) no changes have been updated / saved. It does not work for profile owner and administrator, so as a result I am not able to change any profile data to the latest status.

    I already searched for this problem and tried to fix this error. I already checked if the problem is caused by other plugins, themes or cache. The problem is still there. I also checked that all Ultimate Member Sites has the right shortcodes and is selected right under UM > settings > general > sites.

    I use

    Ultimate Member 2.6.0
    Addon UM Online 2.1.5

    running on

    WordPress Multisite 6.2

    Please help me! I really dont know what else I could do. I really loved UM so far. It would really break my heart if there is no solution for that.

    1. Look at your browser web console if you have any JavaScript errors.
    Try also to make the Profile edit with another browser and clear browser caches.

    2. Enable PHP error logging, read this guide: “How to enable debug logging”

    Try to edit a Profile.

    You will probably get a PHP log file with notices and errors in this file:
    /wp-content/debug.log

    Post the content of this file here in the Forum and we can give you the PHP error explanation. For best formatting use the CODE format.
