Profile picture upload issue for specific users

    Hello all

    I’ve experiencing a strange issue that affects onyl a minority of users on the WP site in question. So far a few users a suddenly unable to change or upload a pictire as their profile image. I’ve tried logging in with different users and the vast majority and still upload profile pictures so it’s not the function itself i suspect.

    If i click “tilf?j billede”, add image in my langauge, then nothing happens with a faulty user but with a normal user account it works just fine and i get to choose an image from the medie library.

    Does anyone have any advice on where to start troubleshooting?

    That’s not part of WordPress itself. What plugin are you using to provide that functionality?

    Something custom made that i haven’t gotten the full scope of yet. It’s a website for a club of travellers. They hired an egyptian company to develop the site because they were cheap and they have absolutely [removed] the product with code changes in core files.

    Core functinality breaks frequently due to updates in WP and plugins. Seeing as this issue is not part of WP itself then i know more about where to start. I think i may just advise them to start over rather than to try and fix every little thing.

    Yeah, that would be my recommendation too.

    Also, please do avoid usage of the words like the one you used there, even if you censor out some letters.
