• Hello, I recently uploaded a picture which was too big for my profile picture on wordpres. It has completely destroyed my dashboard, I can’t see or click on anything, it is all white. I’ve tried multiple times to remove it but everywhere I click all I see is a white screen.

I’ve gone in through FTP to try and delete it manually, but it gets permission denied. I try to change the file permissions on the image, permission denied. I’ve tried replacing the image with a smaller one, permission denied.

Please somebody let me know how I can remedy this situation? The website still loads fine, but once I’m signed into the dashboard I can’t use it at all.

I’ve also tried in multiple browsers.

Here’s what I see when I log in now.

I just need to delete the picture I set for my profile pic. It happened right after.

Is there a way to change the file permissions inside the uploads folder?

are there other plugins that are active that might have a conflict?
can you try disabling or removing plugins via FTP?
    which theme are you using?

do you have access to get into the database instead to see if you can pin point the problem item?
be sure you have a backup before looking around in database.

If you can temporarily squeeze this in the css, all images will be hidden and give you a chance to work on the problem. Try to put it an the end of the last style sheet to load.
