I used a “display none” in WP customizer to hide the profile photo because the UM profile photo only work in the plugin pages and doesn’t work on WP profile picture, the wp profile photo remain a blank img and never changes. Before I used the display none css code, user were not able to see there profile picture anywhere on my site, only on the UM pages. I didn’t like that and resorted to using the display none in css to hide the profile photos, but now when I go to profile to edit and try to save the inputted info it requires a profile photo. How do I disable the profile photo from being required, I don’t want it and don’t need cause it doesn’t work with my wordpress site.

I have tried to disable the uploader in the setting -> appearance. That does nothing.
I have clear cache, test plugin, plugin conflicts, nothing seem to fix the WP profile photo to change to the UM uploaded photo. Since I can’t figure it out, I rather not have no profile picture but that isn’t working either as your plugin is requiring profile photo to be uploaded when I choose not to have no user require to upload.

    Hi @shygirl51

Have you tried disabling it in the UM Profile form settings?

Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Forms > Edit a Profile form > See “Customize this form” > turn “Yes” for “Apply custom settings to this form” > now you will see the “Disable Profile Photo Upload”.
