Hello. I am not able to deactivate the profile.php page/menu. I want to do this for the Author role. When I test, I can hide Posts so I think I am using the plugin correctly. Any advice would be appreciated.

  • Hi @iroller,

Please go to Settings -> Adminimize -> MiniMenu section -> Menu Options, check for following choices:

    Profile (profile.php)
    — All Users (Slug: users.php)
    — Add New (Slug: user-new.php)
    — Your Profile (Slug: profile.php) <--- here

Now you just need to click a button ??
Hope that helps, if not, please comment ??

    Cheers,
    Cuong

    Hi Cuong

    Thanks for your reply.

I ticked All Users, Add New, and Your Profile. Then I Updated Options.

    It does not work.

    Author can change profile.

    Please advise.

    Hi @ioller,

It seems weird for me because I have tested on my site and it working just fine,

Please check one more option in “MiniMenu” -> “Backend Options” -> “User-Info” dropdown -> check for “Hide”

    Hope it helps you ??

    Will do and thanks again.

@duongcuong96: As I mentioned, I’ve resolved the problem through your description above. It doesn’t make sense to post screenshots with my configuration, as it is the same like yours. ??

    @w3code, Ok ??
