Profile Page

  • Hello: Is it normal for the PROFILE page to show up on searches? I have only noticed this in the last 2 days? Has something changed….because I know I didn’t change any settings. Can I have my PROFILE page NOT show up? Should it?

    When I do a search in google….and all the pages of my website show up….on my computer anyway….do you not see the profile page?

    You had not said anything related to search engines – which profile page is showing up?

    And for what search?

    Ok…lets see if I can make this more clear…
    When I type my site into GOOGLE…a list of pages comes. Only in the last couple of days does my PROFILE page from WordPress show up. It never did before….so should it be…if not…how do I stop it?

    Okay, thank you – I just searched (on Chrome) for “homemade and yummy” and did not get your profile from this site – but search results vary.

    But aside from that, you cannot keep Google from showing your profile here – these forums are public and indexed quite quickly. Your website is in your profile, so you might take that out – not sure if that makes a difference or not.

    I an just confused because I didn’t change any settings…and now this page appears in the search. Does it matter if it does? Where would I go to change it?

    What I meant is that your put your site URL on this page?
