Profile Links for BuddyPress – shortcodes

  • Hi,

    For test, I have pasted the shortcode below into all my WP & BuddyPress pages like login/out page, Register page, post page, classified page integrate to BP, members directory page, and so on … but I don’t see anything like a link or I can see the shortcode below on my page :
    [profile url=”messages/” text=”Inbox”]

    Please should I modify this shortcode ? or anything else ?

    For information, I use the latest WP version 5.4.2 … and the latest BP version too (July 2020) …
    My WP server use PHP7.3

    Hi Chris,

    I have just checked using a clean install of the latest WordPress, BuddyPress, and Profile Links for BuddyPress under PHP 7.3 and 7.4 and found it to be working as expected.

    Can you please let me know a public URL where the shortcode has been added? Please also let me know what the shortcode content is and roughly where it should appear in the page.

    I assume that you have done the following:

    – Set your permalinks format
    – Enabled ‘Private Messaging’ via Settings > BuddyPress
