    Hi,
since the update to WP 5, new entries or changes in the profile field “job_location” are no longer shown in the front end, the google map that comes with the entry is now displayed as well.

You can see one entry without adress, thats the one that made the error obvious. I tried completly new posts with the same result.

    Help would be appreciated,
    Oliver

    Hi @liquidgazer — Oliver. ??

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, here.

You can see one entry without adress, thats the one that made the error obvious.

Is the listing for “Ulrike” the one you’re referring to? I do see there’s no location on that one. To clarify — was that listing added after the update to WordPress 5.0? Have you since updated to version 5.0.3, and might that fix the problem?

Yes, thats the one. It was added after 5.0. And its 5.0.3 now.

Thanks for looking into my problem!

    Hi!

So to be clear, if you edit this listing, does it have data in the “Location” field in wp-admin ? If it does, then I suspect the issue lies with your theme, and not with WPJM. In my own tests, I have no issues with WordPress 5.0.3 and the Location field for job listings. Have you asked your theme author to look at it for you?

    Hi,

it is as you say, there is data in the field, it is the same with completly new listings, everything shows, but the location. I would like to double check check in the WP database. Can you please tell me, in which table I can find the location entries? I use PhPMyAdmin.

I will ask the theme author after having followed it to the end with the perspective on the plugin.

    Thanks for your care!

You’ll find it in the post_meta table, in the _job_location meta key.
