Profile images not showing in chat

    Hello Better Messages

    I installed this plugin in a new site a few days ago and the chats are not showing users profile images. (I have tried to attach the screenshot but that hasn’t been possible. But all the same, let me give you a picture of what’s happening. When you go to the messages page, usually, you see the picture of person you are chatting with. I my case, those profile picture are empty. Hope you get what I mean). How do I get the images to appear? Please help.

    So what should I do? I have also noticed that the “all users” page also has no pictures.

    So how do i fix the issue? What should I do to make the pictures appear in the chats?

    I am using freeio theme.

    The “all users page”: Dashboard> Users > all users

    I noticed before in another site that if the the user pictures appear in the “all users” page, then better messages chats also have user pictures/ avatars.

    So help me get the user images to show during chats

    Hi there!

    If the avatars are not showing at your WP Admin, there is some issues at your website with avatars and that is not related to Better Messages.

    Unfortunately I do not know what exactly the issue can be at your website.

    You need to find and fix it yourself so in your WP Admin avatars will be shown, then they should appear at Better Messages interface as well.

    where does better messages pull user images from? Is it user profile page or “users” page? I think knowledge of that can help fixing the issue.

    In addition, is there a way to help make freeio theme compatible with better messages.

    Hi there!

    If you are not using plugins from integration list, then it takes avatar using WordPress get_avatar_url function, which is what also displayed in WP Admin -> Users page.
