    Hi @nwylde

Could you please tell us what version of UM plugin you’re using?

hi, the newest I would think as I had just installed it yesterday. I deinstalled and am now trying again. What a buggy plugin. I don’t have any other plugins installed. at all.

I made it work on a test site, but it was buggy there as well. I was thinking we might have to live with it, but . . .
this could be a really great plugin if it worked well.
thanks. I hope you have a solution.

    Hi @nwylde

Could you please provide steps to recreate the issue?

probably not. there are so many steps to take to make the plugin work. and the same settings are entered in multiple places which I think may be a problem in terms of functionality.

the profile photos are showing now. but the search bar is not. well it does show on occasion of its own accord and then it disappears. It would be great if it would show always.
    thank you.

    Hi @champsupertramp
I found the issue : you use get_avatar( $user_id, $this->avatar_size ) to get the image of the user. So if you disallow show_avatars in admin the function will return false.
    ??

    I have the same problem.
@lamostelle I disabled the option of using gravatars in the settings users tab but still have this problem.

Is there someplace else where i need to change this settings?

I solved this in the WordPress settings:
Settings: Discussion: Avatar: Avatar Display checked

    I hope this helps.
