Profile image not uploading / saving

    Major Issue with user profile image not updating. Both profile and background images became pixelated in members page with current release. Wipe and re-install from scratch – images now appear sharp.
    Changed to Troubleshooting mode.
    All plugins turned off apart from ultimate member.
    Flaky image selection box (image or selection lines sometimes doesn’t appear).
    UM-Members page shows different profile to edit page.
    Even tried 2.13 from git-hub, but still no change.
    Appears unstable. Was OK last year. HELP PLEASE!

    Hi @sjnott,

    Please make sure to update to the latest 2.1.3 version of the Ultimate member core which we’ve released today.
    Do you have any image optimization plugins installed?
    Please also attach screenshots of this issue.

    No plugins active apart from yours.

    Still waiting for resolution to issue of pixelated images and non posting images.
    Performed more trials. Created a stand alone image upload with just jpg and jpeg files allowed. SORRY THIS IS NOT A VALID IMAGE being shown.
    Tried various file types, still the same – see screenshot

    Then attempted same with ‘file upload’ shortcode set to JPG/JPEG – see screenshot

    Finally went back to image post and tried with size limit turned off and got the same as the original profile image post see screenshot:

    When do we expect a bug-fix please – this has been a nightmare!
