    After the most recent upgrade, When trying to list a new item on eBay using an existing profile, it failed saying something like “item condition must be specified”.

    I went to edit the profile and the previous selection of “new” had been removed.

    I went to reselect the “new” option and no options were presented to me.

    Without being able to select an item condition, I am unable to list anything on eBay.

    I think that classifies as broken ??

    It sounds like the eBay category you were using previously has been removed or changed by eBay. So when the plugin was updated to the new version (or if you ran an “update account details” the category you had would be removed.

    If there is no primary category selected in the listing profile, you cannot select an item condition because different eBay categories allow different options. So WP-Lister needs to know the category before giving you options to select.

    Can you double check that listing profile to see if a primary eBay category is selected? If there is one, try removing it, re-selecting it, then checking if there are item condition options.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback.

    I was inheriting the category from my WooCommerce product categories rather than directly selecting them on the profile so I could not effect the change you requested.

    I have managed to work around the problem by deleting and recreating eBay account and creating profiles for each eBay category.

    This isn’t ideal, but it has at least got me up and running.

    Hello Stevewood74.

    If you are/were using the category mapping feature, all you should need to do is remove the eBay category in the mapped categories page that matches the product that was having the condition issue, then re-select it again.

    But it doesn’t hurt to have your eBay categories selected in your listing profile as well.
