    I am using a multi-select dropdown for one of my profile fields and at the end of the drop dropdown there is an option for “other” is there a way to add a text field that would pop up if they select other or a way that the user can fill in text next to that?
    I hope this is clear what I’m asking. I don’t want to make an extra text field that ends up below it I only want that option available if they select “other” as one of their options.

    That said, perhaps it’s possible with a customization using JavaScript, but I don’t know JS to help you with it.

    You could post the job in a freelancers site like oDesk, Freelancer or Rent-a-Coder.
