Profile builder forgets all my users passwords including mine

The update is not showing on my dashboard yet and the last time I downloaded the plugin directly from www.remarpro.com and tried to install it. It then broke my site

Please disregard the update issue, that was related for the paid version of our product, not the free one. We don’t think the WP 5.5 is the issue here.In order to solve this issue, let’s take a few steps:

1. Can you login from the front-end page if you set a new password to your account?
2. Try to disable the captcha field and let’s see if this solves the issue
3. https://www.labourlawadvice.co.za/wp-login.php – does this login work all the time, even if the front-end one does not?

1. Yes only once and then the profile builder does not reconise my password
2. I did and it does not work for all the other but only for admin
3. Sometime it works and then forgets the password
Most user have to reset their passwords every time they login

Your plugins look fine, I don’t see anything strange.
Do you have any custom code added to your child theme ?

Your issue is very strange and I’m thinking that something is doing this on purpose maybe ? Especially since you say that you can login once but then your password is not working anymore.

Can you look at your database ? Try to set a new password and take notice of the user_password that is being set in the wp_users table. Then login (until your password doesn’t work anymore, I guess) and check that place again. Did the value change ?
This is not going to be your real password, just an alphanumeric string.

It wouldn’t change anything regarding this. The issue is not the plugin, I believe this would happen with any login system since you say the default page does not work either.

Hello, I am also experiencing this kind of issue after the wordpress update 5.5. Even though, I input the correct username and password, it does not allow me to login. If I tried to input mistake username and password, still no error message will appear. This was working before. I think its because of the wp update? Any thoughts? Can you please advise on how to fix this issue? Thank you
