profile and cover image not working

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could please help

I have created different groups and I’m having the same problem in all.

Users can’t update their profile or cover image, the option comes up to crop and save and lets you go through the motions, however the button fades out and nothing more happens when you press the button to save it.

it does however appear in the media on the wordpress dashboard but not on the profile.

it may be worth noting that as admin i can update mine from the front end, however it does not crop the image just saves the whole thing and squashes it up but it works to a fashion
