Profil picture dropdown not showing

  • Hi everyone,
    I have a problem with my plugin, I just want to change my profile picture. But when I click on it (in edit profile mode), it just takes me back to the profile page.
    I have WPforo and Ultimate Member and I modified the profile page with elementor (and I hope I can keep it like that), but I checked all the option and I don’t see any “disable profile picture” or “disable uploading files” options activated ?

    If you have an idea of what could prevent me from seeing the dropdown that should be visible when I click on my profile picture instead of taking me back to the profile page ?

    Hello @eniosaf

    Please make sure the user has access to edit their profile. You can navigate to wp-admin > ultimate member > user roles > (edit preferred user role) and see if Can edit their profile? checkbox is checked.

    Sorry for the long time without any answer.

    I checked the role authorizations and everyone have their “edit profile” checkbox checked.
    Even Admins can’t edit their profile picture. I think it’s more like a conflict, something that put himself in front of the clickable region to redirect to the profile page instead of opening the sub menu to change the Profile Picture.

    Hi,

    This may be because of a plugin/theme conflict. Can you do a conflict test and see if the issue goes away? This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?

    I tried your solution and only kept Elementor (I really need this plugin lmao) and Ultimate Member. Sadly, the same problem is still here.
    Maybe I need to reinstall UM or I fucked up something somewhere, but I don’t know where, I tried to check everything.

    Hello, I have the same problem. Admin or User cannot use profile upload. Please help, I checked everything.
