Products>Categories in WP-Admin not handling images correctly

Since 3.9, Categories in Products in WP-Admin has several issues:
1) Edit a category, under Category Image click “Choose File” – the only option is to upload a file. You don’t go to the media library to use an existing file
2) If you upload a file, it doesn’t appear in the Media Libary and the single category page doesn’t show the image.
3) If you upload a file directly in to the Media Library, then in Product > Categories > single category click Choose File and upload the same image, it does show on the single category page.
4) The Products>Categories list shows broken images if you set an image in a single category. The image reference in the Categories page (using View Source) is https://www.createncraft.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-core/imagesChristmas.jpg – I think that path is way off.
