    Hello,

I am trying to setup a WooCommerce shop with a pretty specific setup. Basically, I need to offer different product bundle. These product bundle contains various products and some of these products must offer sub-products when selected.

Here’s an image of a schema to show what I am trying to accomplish, if this can make the situation more clear: https://ibb.co/ccsb0q

Now, I’m quite new to WooCommerce and I’d like to know if someone have any suggestion to achieve this. I’ve looked into Variable Products, Add Ons, Grouped Products and I am quite unsure what would be the best way to get this setup.

    Thanks!

    Hi There,

WooCommerce allows grouping of products into bundles which can be sold in different configurations.

This tutorial explains the different extensions which allow you to perform this with WooCommerce. You can choose the one which comes closest to your requirement like Product bundles or composite products etc.

    Cheers!

    Hello Praveen,

So I have been checking out the different options, but I am not quite sure if one of them does what I need to do… I guess that the closest would be the Composite Products, however, the way we work is rather different…

The number of sub products depend on the number of product B for example. So the way it works is that a user visit the website then select a bundle. Now, on the bundle page, he has to pick 5 times a product from a list of 10 products. Now, each product needs to have a kind of attribute to determine if this product comes with subproducts. Then, once his selection is done, he will be brought to a “second step” where he will be able to pick 2 subproducts for each product with the specific attribute. So if out of the 5 products he chose there are 3 with this attribute, he will be able to pick 6 subproducts.

I must admit that it is a bit complicated heh…

    Hey there again!

If you are looking to do some kind of conditional logic, I would highly recommend taking a look at the https://www.woocommerce.com/products/gravity-forms-add-ons/ for WooCommerce, which would allow you to build a product using a Gravity Form, and that would be able to handle what you are trying to do, I think.

Hopefully that helps! Have a great one!
