Products with only numbers in slug show 404

Hello there,
I’m facing the following problem:
When I set a product’s slug to be only numbers and only chose a subcategory as the product’s category, it throws a 404 error “Page not Found” when I set the Permalinks to have the form:
/some-word/%product_cat%/slug
e.g.
https://www.example.com/products/product-category/product-subcategory/542345This, however, works:
https://www.example.com/products/a-product-category/product-subcategory/54-2345I’ve checked this on various installations and themes, and the problem persists, so I suspect it’s a bug.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
